Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 25 May 2026
1. Our Commitment
Pha Wander is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those using assistive technologies or with visual, motor, or cognitive differences. We aim to create a site that is clear, well-structured, and usable without relying on any single sensory ability or input method.
2. Conformance Target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our website, which covers the homepage (index.php) and all legal pages. WCAG 2.1 AA is the widely recognised standard for web accessibility published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
3. Measures We Have Taken
In building and maintaining this site, we have applied the following practices:
- Semantic HTML — headings, landmarks (
header,main,footer,nav), and native elements are used throughout so that screen readers can navigate the page structure cleanly; - Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, toggles, the mobile navigation, and the cookie dialog) are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone. Focus order follows the visual reading order;
- Colour contrast — text and interactive elements are checked to meet at least 4.5:1 contrast against their backgrounds, as required for WCAG 2.1 AA normal text;
- Motion and reduced-motion support — we do not use autoplay animations. Any motion that could be added is designed to respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query; - Descriptive alternative text — all informative images carry meaningful
altattributes that describe the content of the image in context, rather than generic captions; - Labelled form controls — every form input has an associated visible label. Required fields are identified both visually and programmatically;
- Accessible dialog — the cookie consent uses a native
<dialog>element witharia-modal,aria-labelledby, and ESC-key support.
4. Known Limitations
We are a small team and our accessibility review is ongoing. A few areas we are aware of:
- Embedded Google Maps iframes are outside our direct control and may present challenges for some screen reader or keyboard users. We provide our full address in text form alongside the map;
- Third-party fonts (loaded from Google Fonts) are subject to that provider's own rendering, which may vary between systems.
If you encounter a barrier that is not mentioned here, please let us know.
5. Feedback and Reporting
If you find something on this site that is difficult to use, or if you believe an element does not meet the accessibility standard it should, we would like to hear from you. Write to us at [email protected] or call +66 42 836 571 (Mon–Sat 8:00–18:00 Thai time). We will investigate and respond within five working days.
6. Date of This Statement
This statement was prepared on 25 May 2026 and reflects our current level of conformance. We review it when significant changes are made to the site.
